We publish independent, hands-on reviews and comparisons of software used by Australian mortgage and finance brokers. We also build and sell one of the products we review — how that works is set out in our Disclosure and Editorial Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Our reviews are opinions about software, formed by testing it against published criteria on a stated date.

They are not financial product advice or credit assistance, and nothing on this site is a recommendation about any loan, lender, credit product or financial product. We are not licensed to provide financial product advice or credit assistance and do not hold ourselves out as being.

They are not a substitute for your own assessment. Software changes, pricing changes, and what suits one brokerage does not suit another. A verdict is accurate as at its test date and no later — which is why we publish the date.

You remain responsible for your own licensing, compliance, privacy and record-keeping obligations, and for deciding whether any product suits your business.

You may read, link to and quote our content with attribution. You may not:

• copy, republish or redistribute substantial parts of our content without our written permission;
• scrape, harvest or systematically extract our content or data;
• use our content to train a machine-learning model without our written permission;
• present our verdicts, scores or criteria as your own, or alter them and attribute the result to us;
• misuse the site, interfere with it, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it.

We own the copyright in the reviews, scores, criteria, methodology and written content on this site, or use it with permission. Product names, logos and trade marks belong to their respective owners and appear here to identify the products we review.

If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, tell us at hello@financeos.au with enough detail to identify the material and we will look into it promptly.

If you submit a comment, review, question or other contribution, you keep ownership of it, and you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish and use it in connection with the site.

You are responsible for what you submit. Do not submit anything unlawful, misleading, defamatory, infringing, or that contains someone else's personal information without their consent.

We may decline to publish, edit for length or clarity, or remove a contribution. Where we edit a contribution we do not change its substance.

We link to third-party websites, including the vendors whose products we review. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their products, or their terms. A link is not an endorsement beyond what our review actually says.

Where a link earns us a commission it is marked, as set out in our Disclosure and Editorial Policy.

We aim to keep this site available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law which cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

Subject to section 9, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from your reliance on our content, from your use of any third-party product, or from any interruption to this site. Subject to section 9, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

We take reasonable care to make our reviews accurate, and we correct errors when we find them or you tell us about them.

We may update these terms. Changes take effect when we post them, and the "last updated" date above shows when that was. If you continue to use the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Both of us submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the courts able to hear appeals from them.
